Be Historic!

Admission to the Historic Stranahan House Museum is by guided tour only.

Experienced and highly trained docents lead you through the museum to share the story of the house, the founding family, and the City of Fort Lauderdale. Tours last approximately 45-60 minutes. Tour groups are limited in size, and tickets are sold online and at the door. To ensure ticket availability, online advance purchase is encouraged.

What to Bring:

• We will be on our feet for most of the tour, so please wear comfortable shoes.

Parking:

• Public Parking is located near the Historic Stranahan House Museum at the Riverside Hotel, on Las Olas Boulvard, and in public parking Lots.

• Tour groups are limited in size and tickets are sold online and in-person on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Tours begin promptly on the hour.
• Children under 6 years of age are free to attend. However, we encourage parents and guardians to consider the maturity and attention span of their young ones. The content and pace of our tours may not align with the entertainment expectations of younger children, which could impact the enjoyment of other participants.

Tickets Prices:

• $12 for adults
• $11 for seniors
• $7 for students
• Groups of 10 or more require advanced registration through [email protected].

Tour Times:

• Tours occur daily at 1, 2, and 3pm.
• Tours begin promptly on the hour.
• Tours are sometimes limited due to school tours, special programs, and private events. 
• The museum is closed for New Year’s Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
