Stranahan Speakeasy is officially AT CAPACITY. We are no longer accepting registrations for this event, and walk-ons will not be permitted entrance.
For 1 night only, Stranahan House is transforming into a 1920’s speakeasy! Learn about prohibition-era “Fort Liquordale” from professor Eliot Kleinberg at this free event. Alcoholic beverages available with purchase of Stranahan House mug! Staff can fill your mug with coffee (beer) or tea (wine). Extra donations can get you the password to unlock other libations.
We’ve also partnered with the Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi to keep the party going! After our event, at 8:00 pm, there will be a boat docked outside of Stranahan House. All our guests who purchase mugs can secure their seat on the boat for $30 pp. Those without Stranahan House mugs will board for $40pp. This will be a 1.5 hour tour showing more historical places and the staff on board will offer specialty drinks to stick with the theme!
