Clive’s passion for preservation began as a child when he first visited Fort Lauderdale’s King-Cromartie House, sparking a lifelong dedication to keeping South Florida’s stories alive. Today, he leads the Hollywood Historical Society and has served in key roles with the Broward Trust for Historic Preservation, the Broward County Historical Commission, and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
Clive’s contributions have been widely recognized, including a City of Hollywood Proclamation for Outstanding Achievement in Historic Preservation, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award, and a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition. Beyond history, he is a founding member of the Hollywood LGBTQ+ Council and received its Trailblazer Award in 2022.
