The Historic Stranahan House Museum has embarked on a transformational Capital Improvement Campaign to further protect the historic site and create new opportunities for guests at the museum. This campus-wide improvement plan has been met with great support from partners and community stakeholders allowing us to reach 65% of our fundraising goal. The orange areas within the site plan to the left are all the funding opportunities for this campaign.
The Capital Campaign aims to enhance Stranahan House’s facilities and offerings, ensuring its continued significance as a vital cultural institution. Spearheaded by committed supporters and patrons, including the Wayne And Lucretia Weiner Fund at the Community Foundation of Broward, whose generous $100,000 match donation has ignited momentum and enthusiasm within the community.
With the Seawall and River Patio projects completed prior to 2020, we are now looking towards our next phase of development. We have been working hard to complete the rigorous permitting process since August 2023. Once permits have been issued, Stranahan House will be excited to announce the groundbreaking ceremony’s date.
Please contact Jennifer Belt, Executive Director, at director@stranahanhouse.org or 954-524-4736 if you have any questions on this project and to learn about additional ways you can help the museum achieve our goals.
