The Historic Stranahan House Museum is a private, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit institution founded in 1984.
The mission of the Historic Stranahan House Museum is twofold: 1) To tell the story of the birth of our community through the lives of two extraordinary people and the homestead they created, and 2) To serve as an enduring legacy for historic preservation.
The vision of the Historic Stranahan House Museum is to be the focal point of the community by re-energenizing the spirit of the past.
The House is funded through admissions, private donations, grants, and memberships. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Your donation will allow us to continue to preserve, promote, and interpret the history of this House, the family who built it, and the City of the Fort Lauderdale.
