In Mitchell's Magical Day With Frank & Ivy Stranahan, young Mitchell visits the museum with his 4th grade class and is swept into the past by using his Pop Pop's magical binoculars. He becomes an active participant at Frank Stranahan's trading post, witnesses the terrible downtown fire of 1911, finds himself caught in the fury of the '26 hurricane and sees Ivy Stranahan at the Pioneer House Restaurant many years later. All the while, his class is in the present, learning about the Stranahan’s unique life and their many contributions to our community.
