We have the key for entertaining Summer Camps!!!
Take a field trip to Stranahan House, the oldest surviving structure in Broward County. Students will hear about the early days here -- the arrival of Frank Stranahan, the first school teacher, Ivy Cromartie, their relationship with the Seminole Indians, trading post days, and the first post office. Campers will get an idea as to how these early settlers lived and dressed. They will experience ringing the ferry bell, making butter, how clothes were washed, and a craft.
Cost is $7 per child.
Available from June 18th- August 14th
